Unwanted Birds
Mountain Spirits takes in unwanted birds with no admission fee. Of course, monetary donations are gladly accepted!
For each bird, the person surrendering the bird must fill out a form with information about the bird and two copies of the release form, one for the owner and one for Mountain Spirits.
Mountain Spirits will pick up the bird(s) if needed. MSBR or an approved MSBR foster home will house the bird for at least one month to evaluate it's condition and behavior. When the bird is considered adoptable, it will be made available to approved adopters on the waiting list.
